WE’RE SO PROUD OF YOU AMBER!!! @MsAmberPRiley WE LOVE YOU! @msleamichele @NayaRivera
Amber isn’t some precious puppy that kept yapping and hopping til they made it on the couch. She’s not helpless and defenseless and she was never up against the impossible. Let’s get that straight right now. This wasn’t a physical battle. This wasn’t strategic either…it wasn’t about finding a way to work around her weight or trick viewers into looking at something other than her body.
The battle for her was in HER mind and the minds of the people watching her every single weak. She had to get over all the fucked up stuff that’s been put in her way for no other reason but to make other people feel better about themselves and to get viewers to see that she could do EVERYTHING the skinny bitches could do and BETTER because her ribs weren’t threatening to bust out her chest and through her dress. And unlike Jack or Christina or Elizabeth she had to work extra hard to prove ya’ll wrong. The “lazy” and “whiny” and “out of shape” assumptions were there from the beginning and she busted that from the FIRST TIME she stepped on that stage.
Amber’s not some helpless puppy that had to be shown what she could do and led blindly into her purpose. She knew. SHE KNOWS. She was fierce competitor from the start. she had the confidence and the ability. Don’t make yourselves feel better by telling yourself that “our little engine that could finally did”…NAH…YOUR STEAM ENGINE CAME ROLLIN THROUGH, KNOCKING OUT COMPETITION EVERY STEP OF THE FUCKING WAY…ONE TRACK AT A TIME….
Don’t do Amber or her title a disservice by making this some “rudy” story…some “ugly duckling” or “bad news bears” shit that is some miracle by God. AMBER BEEN SLAYIN. SHE BEEN KICKIN ASS AND TAKING NAMES.
AND SHE’LL ADD YOURS TO THE LIST
Carefree black girl and hating white feminist
that woman’s laugh is EVERYTHING
Magna Carta Holy Grail and Good Kid Maad City are, no lie, two of the BEST albums to come out this year.
Macklemore and that other white boy won over them.
Tupac and Biggie didn’t die for this shit.
Are you fucking stupid? Macklemore and Eminem (especially the latter) are what keep the legacy of Tupac and Biggie alive. Unlike Jay Z and Kendrick, they rap about things that actually matter to society and themselves. Not “hundred dollar bills” or “poetic justice” which have no meaning at all.
Lol girl bye.
I guess awesomeackerman doesn’t really listen to rap, huh? This is totally embarrassing….for them.
